CES after school club fun

2024-2025  After School Club Information

Session 2 - 12/2/24 through 2/7/25

  • Deadline to sign up for session 2 is Friday, November 22

  • You will receive email confirmation upon acceptance into each club. 

  • Complete 1 registration form per child - paper form OR online sign up. 

  • Students are limited to a maximum of 3 clubs each. Club placement is based on equity and inclusivity.

Monday Clubs

Disney Club

Do you love everything from the magical kingdom of Disney? Come play Disney games, color Disney pictures, and watch some Disney shows/movies. 

When: Mondays Grade levels: K-2

Limit: 15 students

Advisor: Ms. Eldredge & Ms. Dunford

Location: Shark Center

Oodles of Doodles

Do you like to doodle? When you have free time do you like to color or draw? Bring your imagination and join Ms. Karen in the cafeteria for oodles of doodling and coloring fun!

When: Mondays 

Grade levels: K-4

Limit: 10 students

Kindness Club

In a world where you can be anything, be kind! In this club we will be talking about feelings and ways we can be kind. We will work on fun posters for our school to promote kindness to all!

When: Mondays

Location: Library

Walking Club

Join The Walking Club if you like to have fun talking to your friends and classmates while you exercise and increase your steps every week! We will have a quick snack while we map out our route. Make sure to dress for the weather!

Chess Club

Come learn the game of chess, improve your skills and have some fun! Chess strengthens decision-making, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Ultimate Frisbee

It’s extreme. It’s awesome, and it’s ultimate. This club will teach the basics of the game of Ultimate Frisbee. No experience necessary, just an interest in having fun!

Tuesday Clubs

Arts & Crafts

Scissors, tape, glue! Maybe even some glitter. Join Ms. Eldredge and Ms. Dunford for some arts and crafts fun.

CES Post Office

CES is getting its very own post office, and it needs you to run it! We will be talking about how a post office works and creating some of our own Shark mail!

When: Tuesdays 

Grade levels: 2-4

Indoor Soccer

Time for some football… I mean soccer! Students will practice dribbling, ball control and teamwork. All levels of experience are welcome.

CES Lego Masters

Are you a master of the Lego brick ready to unleash your lego skills? Teams of students will compete in weekly Lego building challenges that test their skills & creativity. 

When: Tuesdays

Wednesday Clubs

Wednesday - Chorus 

Chorus participants have been established during the first club session. If you would like to join or leave chorus club, please email both ftoppa@monomoy.edu and dgebhardt@monomoy.edu to let them know. Existing chorus students do not need to sign up again. 

When: Wednesdays

Chorus always takes a break when regular clubs are not in session. Chorus will resume on Dec. 4th. 

Thursday Clubs

Gym Games

Get that energy out with Ms. Eldredge and Mr. Mortell. Enjoy extra gym time, learn some new games and work on good sportsmanship skills.

Science Club

Our youngest sharks will explore some basics of science. Students will look at cool rocks, watch the reactions of vinegar and baking soda and even grow some crystals.

Cheerleading Club

This club is for anyone who wants to show their school spirit! Join Ms. Amanda and learn some fun and simple cheers! Sneakers are a must!

Geography Club

Join our club as we travel all around the world without leaving the classroom! We will learn about the culture in different countries and even make our own passports!

Paper Airplanes Club

We will do a whole lot more than just sit around and fold paper!  We will investigate the design and structure of paper airplanes. So many variables: paper type, size, weight, wind, etc. Sharing prior paper airplane knowledge is welcomed and peer teaching and learning will be encouraged. We will conduct official challenges regarding distance, height, time and ability to carry weight, etc. Come join Paper Airplane club and let your ideas SOAR!!!!!

Friday Clubs

Sticks & Plates Club

Join Ms. Melanson for an hour of crafting fun using paper plates and popsicle sticks. Imagine the things you could create!

There will be no violin club during the Second Session of Clubs. After session 1, 3rd and 4th grade violin will continue during a portion of regular general music classes. Any questions should be directed to ftoppa@monomoy.edu
